For ease of handling the aluminium base is supplied already drilled in 1.54m lengths, which are easily connected together by sliding sleeves (supplied) to build up to any desired length.
The plastic strip is supplied in one piece, being on the total length of the assembled base, and the whole assembly is finished off by end caps to match, chich increases the overall length by 76mm.
The special plastic insert now used in place of the original retractive rubber strip does not oxidise the flexible tinned cadmium/copper contact.
Supplied in any length freater then 36.6m If a continuous length greater than 36.6m is required this can be catered for by welding the extra amount to a PVC strip
The weight per foot ru is 0.6kg/match
AS INDICATED IN THE SECTIONAL DRAWING, THE CONSTRUCTION CONSIST OF:
1. Plastic/metal pressure strip of superior quality plastic is black so as not to show soiling in service. tinned copper contract strip.
2. Optional ‘bell’ or ‘press once’ label avialble for vehicle (as illustrated) or horizontal (ceiling) mounting. Please state requirements.
3. Aluminium base, fluted and anodised in silver or gold colour.
4. Space for circuit winning
5. Overall size: 45mm x 12mm
6. Rigid brass rail, stoutly insulated from an aluminium base to form fixed contact.
7. Fixing holes – concealed by plastic strip
